The builder of the AlbergThirty, AlbergThirtySeven and other boats. WhitbyBoatWorks was founded by Doris and KurtHansen in 1958. When the factory burned down in 1964 and the company moved from Whitby to nearby Ajax Ontario for a few years. WhitbyBoatWorks finally closed its doors in June 1988.
