The Holly part is expensive from Westerbeke. A couple alternatives have been mentioned, but I've not yet heard definitively if these work.
MotoRad Fail safe thermostat part 14-4154-8 7206-180 (180 degree)
- Sierra Thermostat kit # 18-3656 under West Marine Mod # 207657
- VOLVO PENTA Thermostat kit no. 875781-7 (Requires 1/8" gasket to make it fit.)
Old-style, mounted on the manifold
I don't know that these are available, other than the stock 140 degree unit from Westerbeke.
